Teletha Leonard

Teletha Leonard is Central Arkansas Water’s Director of Human Resources. Teletha’s primary role, among others, at CAW is to provide direction and supervision to Human Resources staff; direct the operation of the Human Resources Section; direct and oversee employment activities; oversee wage and salary administration; oversee the administration of benefits; and monitor and advise on Human Resources activities.

She graduated from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock with a Bachelor of Business Administration and from Webster University with a Master of Arts in Human Resources Management. Teletha has a human resources career spanning over 20 years. Prior to joining CAW, she spent nearly 3 years working at the Arkansas Department of Education as the Director of Human Resources and over 18 years at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS). She served as the Senior Director for Benefits and Employee Services in her last position at UAMS. Teletha has a PHR certification with the HR Certification Institute (HRCI) and a SHRM-CP certification with The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).

Teletha is also a faculty member of Central Baptist College (CBC) where she teaches human resources courses both hybrid and online. CBC is in Conway, AR.

Teletha is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Little Rock Alumnae Chapter.
