*LIFTED* Precautionary Boil Water Notice Issued for CAW Customers in Wrightsville
THIS BOIL WATER NOTICE WAS LIFTED AT 11 A.M. ON MONDAY, JUNE 30, 2025
PULASKI COUNTY, Ark. (Wrightsville) – Approximately 240 Central Arkansas Water (CAW) customers are under a precautionary boil water notice until further notice. The affected area includes 145th Street from Interstate 530 east to Union Street and all cross streets.
The notice was issued due to a 16-inch water main break that occurred around 6 a.m. Saturday. CAW crews isolated the main at approximately 10:45 a.m. and remain on-site, with repairs expected to be completed by about 5 p.m. today.
While the precautionary notice is in effect, affected customers should:
- Bring water from the tap to a rolling boil for at least one minute before using it for drinking, food preparation, or dishwashing.
- Discard ice made in automatic icemakers.
The boil water notice applies to customers in the following areas:
145th Street from Interstate 530 east to Union Street, including:
- Adobe Court
- Carlose Cove
- Domicilio Cove
- Grande Court
- Thornoak Drive
- Irongate Drive
- Greathall Court
- Marshfield Court
- Lydia Lane
- Kady Lane
- Castle Grande Drive
- Rockbridge Road
- Panatela Parkway
- Dineen Drive
CAW is notifying affected customers via large signs at major entrances to the area and through local news media and social media.
The incident occurred near the intersection of 145th Street and Domicilio Cove. The Arkansas Department of Health requires a precautionary boil water notice whenever there is a loss of pressure or service due to a water line break. The notice remains in effect until bacteriological testing confirms the water is safe to drink.
Once service is restored, CAW will collect water quality samples. Test results are expected within 24 hours, at which time the notice may be lifted.
